Integrated Artist Residency & Exhibition Program in Seoul, Korea ArtZen K. GmbH (Germany) and East Atelier Gallery (Seoul) invite contemporary international artists to a flexible, 1-month professional program in Seoul. Launch your artistic footprint into the dynamic South Korean art market with a structured, all-inclusive 3-artist cohort session.

The 1-Month Timeline

First 20 Days (Residency): Dedicated creative time with 24-hour secure studio access and private housing included. Last 10 Days (Exhibition): A fully managed and curated group exhibition showcase at East Atelier Gallery.

Key Inclusions & Value

Housing: Private bedroom in a central Seoul flat, with all amenities and utilities included. Studio: 24-hour secure creative workspace equipped with individual desks and easels. Showcase: Curated 10-day group show with a public opening reception, full local marketing, and art fair proposal integration. Grant Administration: Official Letters of Invitation and Commitment Contracts provided immediately upon selection to support your independent local grant applications.

Fee & Schedule

Fee: €1,500 per artist (All-inclusive programmatic package rate).

Dates: Continuous rolling slots starting from October 2026 onwards (Sessions launch as soon as a 3-artist cohort is formed).

Our key Korean cooperative venue, East Atelier Gallery in seoul, Korea, provides physical facilities, local administrative coordination, and professional curation to ensure outstanding market visibility.

Program Architecture Residency to Exhibition

-An Active, Continuous Flow

This program is explicitly designed as a unified, continuous

experience: a 1-month residency that naturally evolves directly

into a curated group exhibition.

Instead of a standalone stay, artists produce their physical work

on-site and present it immediately within the same framework to

maximize impact.

To ensure high-quality spatial coordination and authentic

peer-to-peer engagement, we curate small groups of 3 selected

artists per monthly block.

  • 3 Artists per Group: Intimate, highly supportive operational

    framework.

  • 1 Month Duration: Dedicated focused workflow.

  • Jongno District: Historic & cultural heart of Seoul.

The Curated Cohort At a Glance

-Dynamic & Collaborative

  • 24/7 Access: Complete studio flexibility, closed exclusively on Saturdays.

  • Desk Easel: Custom personal desk setup measuring 120 x 60cm provided.

  • Open Studio Format: Engage directly with visiting collectors, curators, and peers during the creative process.

  • Active Sales Support: Artworks can be sold directly from the studio, managed fully by the gallery.

-East Factory Studio

  • Wall Space: Approx. 2 linear meters of custom gallery wall space allocated per artist.

  • Medium Focus: Designed for wall-based works(digital/media installations can utilize a separate black-box room).

  • Opening Reception: Professional vernissage opening night coordinated and hosted by the gallery team.

  • Future Opportunities: Outstanding participants may be selected for future fully-funded solo exhibitions.

THE GROUP EXHIBITION FINAL 10 DAYS

-Professional Fine Art Presentation

Your single program fee covers the entire organizational cost of your stay, work facilities, and launch publicity:

  • Furnished accomodation & utility.

  • 24-hour studio space & personal easel.

  • Curation, vernissage opening reception, group exhibition

    and catalog support.

  • Artwork sales support during open studio and exhibition

    (commission split: 50% Artist / 50% Gallery)

  • Solo exhibition opportunities for qualified artists upon review
